I have been using Milog until recently but saw that this would export to iXpensit. I upgraded to iXpensit from the lite version and switched my mileage log to this. It doesnt export instead it says I dont have iXpensit installed. So I back to where I started...using Milog

I have been using this app for over a year now. It has made keeping track of my mileage and all surrounding details (dates, notes, ...) an absolute breeze and timesaver at tax filing time. Id give the app 5 stars except support has never replied to the two emails I sent them.

Last year, I logged over 10,000 miles for my business driving, thats equivalent to over $5,500 of tax deduction!! So Mileage tracking is essential for me. I have downloaded and tried a couple other mileage apps, they are all descent but nothing stands out. FYI Mileage is in its own class! I was completely blown away by its super cool and user friendly interface. Heres what I like about this app: . Attractive design. . Ability to get to all features within 2 or 3 taps. . A very smart and interactive Odometer display. . Quick summary of my overall driving statistics such as total miles drive, total amount I can deduct. . I can look up destination directly from my address book. . Allows me to log multiple cars and drivers. . Nice graph report. . Able to export my trip data by email or web browser (need wi-fi connection for browser export). . Password protection (though personally I dont think its necessary to protect my mileage log info). Im extremely satisfied with this application, highly recommend to anyone looking for a tool to track mileage, business or personal. Get it before they bump the price!

This app is perfect. I need a mile log for my business and this is cheaper than a pad of paper and has a lot more features. I love how it automatically puts the last ending mileage. The best part is that at the end of the year I can email the entire list right from the program to my CPA and Im done. Hes going to be happy he doesnt have to go through a bunch of papers. Cant beat the price. Its a program I would have paid $10 for. Awesome!!

Fairly good, but there seems to be a lot of clicking necessay to add a new mileage entry. The odometer wheels are less than responsive. I like that I can add mileage driven without adjusting the odometer wheels. Overall the app feels a little too unpolished to make it a positive experience, which it needs to be if Im going to use this every day for business.

I really love that you can add a destination from your address book, but you should also be able to enter a starting point address and have it just calculate the mileage from google maps. With this feature, this app would dominate amongst other mileage tracker apps.

Very slick interface and easy to use. I use iXpenseIt as well, would like a status or export data to iXpenseit of all completed trips. Looking forward to it.

Very good start for a promising app of tracking mileage deductions and reimbursements. A good complimentary to iXpenseIt.

I bought this because it seems to have the same functionality as Trip Cubby but FYI has a nicer interface. So far, most things are fine. Ive used it about 10 minutes. FYI is buggy. It has crashed several times. The "Notes" section brings up the keyboard even if you havent hit "edit" and is not functional. The biggest improvement Id like to see is the ability to include parking fees and other incidental costs. You can to this in the notes section, but the program doesnt total this up for you. So at the end of year, this information would export (I presume), but you would have to total this up manually. Not my idea of easy. I hope this program will improve quickly, otherwise I will find something else.

Selected after reviewing other apps, and finding this one the best in class. Would be nice if it could be setup to sync/backup with one click like Mileage Cubby, ESP with Wifi rather than having to manually typing in a port address on my browser. Would be neat if users could create and use user icons. Would be cool to see sample reports on web site and/or app store. Nice job on the web site and help system.

Buggy, would not save trips or carry over mileage.

Let me preface this with saying Ive tried most of the mileage logging apps in the Store. Some are too basic, some are too wieldy (too many options), making it a pain to log trips. Im an airline pilot who moonlights as a real estate agent, so Im very familiar with logging hours and/or miles! After MUCH research, I settled on this app. Its not there yet, but with a few relatively-minor enhancements, it could be about as good as it gets. Heres my feedback: Hi, I just purchased your app and like it so far. Dont love it because it takes a long time for me to enter my trips (Im switching over from a great Palm app, MileageX). However, with a few seemingly minor changes (Im a web developer myself), this could be hands-down the best Mileage app in the Store: 1. I hate having to scroll the wheels to enter start/end mileage. Its easy when I already have the beginning mileage input (since ending mileage is usually somewhat close), but its a ROYAL PAIN to do when Im trying to enter all my 2009 trips en masse (and from different vehicles, hence different start mileages). Maybe this program just isnt capable of mass-entry. It would be MUCH simpler and easier to use if I could type the mileage in with the numeric keyboard. I could then do in 4 seconds what it takes me 20 seconds to do with your current system. 2. Speaking of mileage entry, you have too many digits! I think 6 digits is enough for 99.5% of the worlds population. Only professional truckers are every even capable of putting that many miles on a vehicle, but their odometers only have 6 digits!! 7 digits just makes data entry more difficult, as the numbers are smaller. Ditch the unnecessary 7th digit and this will be immediately improved. 3. Add an option for turning the time on/off. The date function is essential, but how many of us actually track times? Its not required by the IRS, and only DOT requires times to be logged (i.e. professional truckers). Im an airline pilot and am familiar with these regulations, but I think the time just clutters an otherwise clean interface. It would be great to add a setting to disable times, as I believe most folks using your program dont need the feature. Plus, most trucking companies have proprietary hour-tracking systems, as required by DOT, so they wont be relying on FYI for official documentation. 4. This might be a little more difficult for you, but the date entry for new trips is also a bit cumbersome and un-user-friendly for entering trips en masse. I know why you lumped the month and day together in the date scroll wheel, and that is fine for entering trips from the last several days. However, try entering all your trips from 2009!! Talk about a scroll-hungry app! If I have to enter a trip from April 2009, it takes 17 seconds of scrolling just to get to the date. Not very user-friendly! Plus, you cant even see that youve entered that trip for 2009 (vs 2010) until you switch screens. A better solution would be to split the day/month/year into separate scroll wheels, which would allow me to enter a trip from April 2009 in 5 seconds vs 17 seconds as it currently requires. 5. Could you please add an option to save recurring trip names. For example, I like to title my trips by my clients name (i.e. "Smith"), but I dont want to necessarily save it as a destination, because Im driving them around town to different locations (versus going to the same address all the time). It would save time over having to type their name every time into the trip name header. The Palm program, MileageX had this, and it was very helpful... Hopefully you see all my comments as constructive criticism. Im trying to help make your app the best and simplest mileage logger in the store, which I believe it could be with the above-mentioned changes!

I have used this app for over a year. It works great! Can send mileage reports over email, wifi etc. Did I say that it works great? Yes, you have to click through a couple of screens to add details, but it is on an IPHONE, what do you expect!

Had the other app from these developers (iXpenseIt) initially, and decided to try this one out as well. Quick and easy way to keep track of detailed information on all your trips--great for me, because I use my car for personal and work purposes. I also love the fact that you can post directly to iXpenseIt, makes my life a lot easier. A must have for ppl who have to be on top of their mileage and deductions.

This my favorite and most used app! It saves me money by keeping track of business miles. A great feature I like is that you can search for past trips and use that description for a new trip. For example, if you make a lot of trips to the PO Box, you search for a past trip of that name and it also tells you trip distance. Select it, and it the name and mileage gets copied over to your new trip! If you want to be more accurate and detailed, you can input your current trips starting odometer reading, then input the distance which you already know for the past trip. Then you dont have to worry about setting the ending odometer when you get back (or if you forget to), because its already done! So this app saves time too!

Needs a little work.... Look forward to great updates from the hard working crew at fyi

This app has not had an update in over a year. Now it crashes when adding trip on iOS 4.3. Please fix soon.

Is developer going to fix crash that happens every time you now try to add a trip????

If it werent bad enough that you could inadvertently pull up reports and delete everything, now after the iOS 4.3 update, the app crashes when a new trip is initiated. So far the developer has not responded and the app is unusable.

Since IOS 4.3, this app crashes when trying to add a trip. Useless app until the developer updates to fix this issue.
